Description:
Preconstruction and Construction Manager at Risk for extensive MEP upgrades to the 9-story Community House for Central Synagogue. Scope of work includes replacement of the major existing HVAC and mechanical cooling systems, as well as a new chiller plant and cooling towers. The project also involves replacement of electrical switch gear and fire alarm panel, with plumbing and sprinkler work. As a result, some work extends into the Synagogue itself. Both facilities will remain fully operational throughout construction. Central Synagogue is the oldest continuously operating synagogue in NYC, and is a designated NYC Landmark and National Historic Landmark.
